Traversing Tranquil Terrain: NJP/IXB to Darjeeling
● Arrive at NJP railway station or IXB Airport. Transfer to Darjeeling (about 70 KM/about 3-4 hours drive).
● Enjoy the scenic drive passing through charming villages and lush greenery.
● Take in the breathtaking views of the Himalayas and tea gardens along the way.
● Check-in at your hotel in Darjeeling. Rest of the Day is for Leisure on your own.
● Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Darjeeling: Where Every Sunrise Paints a New Adventure
● 4:00 AM: Early morning visit to Tiger Hill (subject to availability of permit/token), Explore Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on the way back. then return to the hotel for Breakfast.
● After breakfast visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and its mountaineering history museum.
● Proceed to the P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays) for Himalayan fauna.
● Visit the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays) for Tibetan crafts. Admire the outer view of the Tea Garden.
● Visit the Japanese Temple for peace and Himalayan views.
● Enjoy a ride on the famous Darjeeling Toy Train(world heritage) on a direct payment basis.
● Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Discovering the Charms of Mirik
● After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion trip to Mirik Lake.
● Travel via the Indo-Nepal Border (additional vehicle charges may apply for Nepal Border to Pashupati Market).
● Explore Mirik, known for its man-made Sumendu Lake, Cardamom plantations, and Tea Estates.
● Enjoy boating on Sumendu Lake (direct payment basis).
● In the evening, return to the hotel in Darjeeling.
● Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Departure to IXB/NJP from Darjeeling
● Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel and check out.
● Transfer to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey.
● Wish you a very happy journey for your onwards!
