- Depart Haridwar for Phata / Guptkashi along the scenic Mandakini valley.

Trek Begins · Night at Kedarnath
- Drive to Sonprayag and take local transport to Gaurikund , the base of the trek.
- Choose the 16 km trek (11–12 hours) or a helicopter / pony / doli to Kedarnath.
- Pooja and darshan at the Shri Kedarnath Temple , dedicated to Lord Shiva, amid snow-clad surroundings.
- Visit the Shankaracharya Samadhi , located behind the temple.
