These high-altitude temples open only for about six months a year, from summer to the onset of winter. Badrinath , dedicated to Lord Vishnu and set at 3,133 m, is the most important of the four — reached by a scenic drive through Pipalkoti and Joshimath, with a holy dip at the Tapt Kund and a visit to Mana, the last village of India.

Drive to Pipalkoti / Joshimath
- Check out after breakfast and drive towards Pipalkoti or Joshimath , along the scenic Himalayan routes.
- Enroute, the ancient Gopinath Temple (Gopeshwar) dedicated to Lord Shiva — optional visit.
- Optional darshan at Tungnath Temple ; the 3.5 km trek can be covered on foot or by horse.
- Check in at your hotel in Pipalkoti / Joshimath (depending on availability); afternoon at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Pipalkoti / Joshimath.

Badrinath Darshan, Tapt Kund & Mana
- Embark on a day excursion to Badrinath , the most important of the Char Dhams, dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
- Take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund hot water spring before visiting the Badrinath Temple.
- Explore Mana Village , the last village of India near the Indo-China border.
- Visit Vyas Gufa , where Sage Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata, and the natural rock bridge Bhim Pul .

- After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar , retracing the scenic Himalayan routes.
- At Rudraprayag (895 m), the Mandakini joins the Alaknanda — a sacred confluence.

- Enroute photo stops at picturesque spots; drop at Haridwar with the mountains' blessings.
